As a Logistics Manager – Anaerobic Granular Sludge / Biomass, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics chain related to the distribution, storage, and quality assurance of anaerobic granular sludge – a vital biological component used in anaerobic systems worldwide. You serve as the key link between production, transport, customers, and operations.
🚛 Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistics operations for the shipment of anaerobic granular sludge to national and international clients
- Manage storage conditions, inventory, and batch quality tracking
- Supervise internal logistics personnel and external transport partners
- Prepare transport documentation (including customs, CMR, and export papers) and quality reports
- Work closely with technology and sales teams to ensure delivery reliability
- Optimize logistics procedures with a focus on cost-efficiency and sustainability
🎓 What You Bring
- Bachelor in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical/commercial field
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or management, preferably in a production or process-driven environment
- Affinity with biological products or (waste)water technology is a strong plus
- Knowledge of regulations regarding the transport of biological materials is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or English – other languages are a plus
